Course Description
This program was created not only to provide officers with the knowledge to identify various types of Drugs, but to also provide valuable information concerning items that are "Not so obvious", which are commonly overlooked. This course will also provide an Officer with the information they will need to identify common and creative methods used for the concealment and consumption of controlled substances.

At the completion of this course, an officer will be able to identify common household products that are used to manufacture controlled substances. The officer will also know the proper handling, disposal and most importantly, the dangers that are associated with their discovery.

The PowerPoint presentation for this program is packed with hundreds of up to date slides depicting pictures of actual drug seizures from various agencies. The information that is presented will provide officers with the knowledge concerning the way controlled substances are packaged, concealed, along with the paraphernalia that is associated with it.

This course also includes a "Plain Touch" segment. This block of instruction will give the officer the ability to testify in court that as a result of their training, they were able to immediately identify controlled substances and/or drug paraphernalia," when conducting a pat down.

The information provided will increase the officers awareness to all the creative and common ways that Drugs are concealed, cultivated and sold on a daily basis. This course is a MUST for all officers!
