Drug Paraphernalia Investigations: This instruction will explain various types of undercover techniques needed to successfully prosecute a paraphernalia case. Depending on your evidence, I will show how to expand your investigation from a Misdemeanor to possibly a corrupt organization. This course will also explain how to track the supplier and other locations that may be involved. Most importantly this course will explain how to prepare a strong affidavit to maximize your case
Plain Touch Seminar: I will provide an officer the information needed to affectively testify to “Immediate Apparent Recognition”. This is a situation every officer encounters on a daily basis. At the completion of this course, the officer will be able confidently testify how they were trained and familiar with the proper way to retrieve controlled substances from a suspect.
NIK Field Test Certification: This course was developed to rapidly screen and presumptively identify common illicit substances of abuse. The basic competency course is designed to provide a law enforcement officer with the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully employ the system in the field.
The course consists of classroom lecture, a PowerPoint presentation, hands on field-testing exercise and a written competency examination. Successful completion requires a minimum score of 80% on the examination and satisfaction completion of the field-testing exercise. Training materials include the NIK Polytesting Instruction & Training Manual.
After the successful completion of the course, the attendees will receive a certificate issued by Armor Holdings, certifying the officer in the use of The NIK System Of Narcotics Identification.
